MIZU Makes LOVE: A Valentines Experience

Love has a plethora of meanings, interpreted differently by each individual.  There are a lot of implications and expectations revolving around Valentines. Music is love… Mizu makes love through sound and artistic expression.

The bold, fresh Boise-based project, formerly known as The Santucci Brothers and Mungo, is an experience to behold. Mizu is a  dynamic ensemble that blends a variety of musical genres and cultural sensations ranging from neo-soul, hip-hop, Afrobeat, and rock.  Their entire performance will take you on a rollercoaster of emotions, much like a well written cinematic drama.  Mizu is comprised of musicians from various parts of the planet.  The performance artists, sax, drums, keys, bass, guitar, and multiple vocalists will enchant and excite your soul.  The group has performed during Treefort Music Fest, Alive After Five, the Idaho Botanical Gardens, the Reef, Sapphire Room, ASANA Climbing Gym, and Trinity Hot Springs.  They are currently releasing live videos from prior events and mastering their freshman album, “Red for the Purpose of Making Gold,” which will be released digitally and on vinyl after Treefort this year.

MIZU makes LOVE: A Valentine's Day Experience, takes place on Tue. Feb. 14th at The Olympic Venue.  RockChuck will be performing in support.  The evening will also feature a variety of local artists, vendors, Shibari performance art, and singles mixers near the beginning of the night.  No matter what your relationship status, single or taken, this will be an evening to recollect.

Bring your sweetheart, swipe right, or invite a friend and meet someone new.  Doors open at 6PM and the activities commence.  Admission is 21+ only.  Tickets are $25/ea on the day of the show or only $20/ea in advance online through www.mizuthetribe.com.  This celebration of love is presented by TO Entertain U
